Dallas...y Panamá

We find ourselves on a layover in the Tocumen International Airport in Panama City. When we arrived, we were excited to finally use our Spanish. We found that the Panamanian accent resembles one from the Caribbean...which means that ending consonant sounds vanish. The phrase "dos empanadas" came off as "do empanada." So, needless to say, it is exciting to be in a place where Spanish is not an option.

As we look forward to our arrival in Lima, we are still thinking about the past two evenings that we spent with friends in Dallas. We stayed with our friends Andy and Mary-Margaret and were so blessed by their hospitality. We had numerous conversations that brought about encouragement and reminders of how beautiful Christian fellowship can be. We were also so excited to get to share an evening reminiscing about the past and celebrating the future with our friends Chad, Patricia and her husband Josiah.  We are about to board the plane, and we cannot wait to see all of the things that God has planned for our trips. Pray that we will have the eyes to see them.

In Christ, Will and Krystle
